Social Media Manager for the New York Islanders
Tyler Brosious is the Social Media Manager of the New York Islanders and has over 10 years of experience in the sports and digital field. While an undergraduate at Quinnipiac, Tyler was a part of QBSN and Quinnipiac Athletics. While at QBSN, Tyler was a feature writer and was the play-by-play announcer for the men’s ice hockey team during their run to the Frozen Four in 2017. Tyler also was the lead feature writer and social media manager for Quinnipiac Athletics through his 4 years of undergrad before becoming a graduate assistant for the department in fall of 2017, where he served as the Director of the Bobcats Sports Media Group and the social media manager for the department. In 2018, he joined Mohegan Sun Sports as the digital content specialist for the Connecticut Sun (WNBA) and the New England Black Wolves (NLL), where he was featured by ESPN for his work with Sun during their 2019 Finals run. In 2019, Tyler joined the XFL and was the digital content manager, serving as one of 3 editors in chiefs for the leagues and teams’ website before COVID-19 forced the league to shut down. In 2020, Tyler joined the New York Islanders as the social media manager, where he oversees the organization’s social footprint.
