Kerry graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications in 2001. Her passion for journalism and television news production led her to a job with a subcontract of CNN as an Executive Assistant. After a few months in her position, she was hired directly by CNN to manage their field and production crews on the assignment desk.
After some restructuring within the network Kerry landed a job with HLN's new legal show, Nancy Grace. AS part of the launch team Kerry served as an Associate producer and eventually a field and line producer for the show.
Kerry moved to the Fox News Channel, joining OnTheRecord w/ Greta Van Susteren, who at the time was the #1 competitor of Nancy Grace covering crime and high profile legal cases. For seven years, Kerry produced daily segments, line produced and was Greta's senior field producer. Travelling the world with Greta covering some of the most high profile cases of the time including multiple trips with heads of state, former Presidents and First Ladies. Securing and producing exclusives including the deaths of Anna Nicole Smith, her son Daniel, Michael Jackson and Natalie Halloway just to name a few.
Kerry was asked to return to CNN in 2012 to be a senior member of the launch team for the new flagship morning show New Day. She moved to Atlanta in 2015 to be the Executive Producer of Morning Express w/ Robin Meade and three years later was tasked with relaunching HLN's dayside programming with On The Story.
